NEW MEMBER CLASS

This series provides an understanding of the Christian Faith at Good Shepherd. This class is useful not only as a review of the fundamentals of Lutheran doctrine but also basic introduction to Good Shepherd's Ministry.

The history of Good Shepherd as a congregation.
• An overview of what we believe.
• An introduction to our staff and their areas of responsibility.
• A tour of Good Shepherd's facilities.
• What benefits a member can expect from Good Shepherd after joining.
• The expectations Good Shepherd has of its members.
• An introduction to Good Shepherd's programs and ministries.
• Our vision and goals as a congregation.
• An opportunity for questions and feedback.


MINISTRIES & COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Reaching out to the commmunity and take pride in God's work in helping others from collecting clothes or food for charities, to feeding/housing homeless, to home visitations for those in need, to yard sales for fundraising.
